2001 Reg. Quarter Horse Mare Perlino DNA Tested: Ee Aa Cr/Cr (Gold Coast Approval x Skip N Paula)
Satin is a very sweet, calm and friendly girl. She is approx. 15.2 hands. Her bloodlines go back to the great Quarter Horse stallions Skippa Ward and Approval. Satin is homozygous for the crème gene so she is a guaranteed color producer every time (buckskin, palomino, or smoky black). So far Satin has produced four exceptional buckskin foals with Juncal A and a gorgeous smoky black tobiano filly with TH Aragorn. Not only do her foals have spectacular color, but they are also well conformed with exceptional temperaments. Due to the slow horse market Satin has been given some time off from being a mom. We currently do not have any plans to breed Satin this year, but if someone wished to purchase her foal in utero she could be put in foal to Gypsy Elite Aidan for another gorgeous Gypsy cross foal. I have also decided that given my desire to focus on the Gypsy Horses I would be willing to sell Satin if the right home came along. She would sell on a ‘right of first refusal’ contract meaning that I would have the first option to buy her back if her new home decided to sell her.
