Breeding Information

Gypsy Elite Aidan will be standing to a limited number of approved mares beginning in 2011.

Stud fee is $1000 for Gypsy mares and $600 for non Gypsy mares

Terms of breeding

Live Cover or Shipped Semen

Collections for shipped semen are billed at actual cost of collecting and shipping.

$150 non-refundable booking fee (included in stud fee)

Mare care per day $8 (mare only), $10 (mare and foal)

For Live Cover:

Mare owner must provide

1) A current veterinary health certificate indicating that mare is in good health and is fit for breeding.

2) Proof that mare is current on vaccinations for Rhino, West Nile Virus, Equine Influenza and Eastern/Western Encephalitis.

3) Proof of current deworming.

4) A recent negative uterine culture

For Shipped Semen:

Mare owner must provide

1) A recent negative uterine culture except on maiden mares.

Discounts – Only one discount per mare

Repeat customers 10% discount

4-H, FFA, or Pony Club member 10% discount

Multiple Mare Discounts:

1st mare – full price

2nd mare – 10% off

3rd mare – 15% off

4th mare – 20% off
