SOLD! This colt is simply amazing! Wonderful conformation and outstanding breeding. He is a grandson of VV Romeo and Shantaigh and a great grandson of Nobby! The fact that he was a double dilute was just the icing on the cake! “Alvy” is homozygous for the cream gene which is extremely rare in Gypsy horses. Since he is homozygous he will ALWAYS pass the cream gene along to his foals. His foals will be palomino, buckskin, smoky black, cremello, perlino, or smoky cream depending on the color of the dam. He is also homozygous for the tobiano gene which means he will always produce spotted foals. This boy should mature into an outstanding breeding stallion. His name (pronounced ALV-yeh) is Irish for White King. We had planned to keep Alvy as a future breeding stallion, but we are going to be cutting back on the amount of breeding that we do. We feel he deserves to go somewhere that he can be promoted and utilized to his full potential. As a result of that we have have decided to offer Alvy for sale. SOLD!
